This pump fills a nice little niche

After looking on line for a solar powered aerator (PV way too big and unsightly in a small space) ...and then a floating solar powered fountain (diameter of floating PV too big for pond)....I decided to settle on a battery powered aerator. The purchase price of the aerator was approx. 1/5 of the above items I looked at. The pump fits neatly out of sight and runs on a single D Cell battery. With the exception of having to buy a battery....the aerator was pretty much plug and go. Very happy with my purchase.

Really water resistant, solid and very quiet. Battery lasts forever and little machine does to. Only thing that could make it better is an airstone with finer bubbles.

It does what it is supposed to do - aerate the water - the battery lasts as long as it says -and it is weather proof. She is only using it on the low switch as she reckons the poor tadpoles will get a headache if put on high as that really does make the water bubble big time. Happy wife, happy life !!
