SERVICING & SELF INSPECTION

As with all inflatable Life Jackets, it's a legal requirement to service them annually as per the manufactures instructions.
These Inflatable Jackets can be self-serviced for the first two years, but it is highly recommended to have them professionally serviced by an authorised service agent on the 3rd year.

Servicing requirements begin from the date of purchase. It's recommended to keep your invoice in a zip-lock bag and with your life jacket.
The first service is due 12 months after the purchase date.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Make sure you're ready for fishing authorities to check your safety equipment. It is important you have your proof of purchase with you when out boating. The best way to do this is to put a copy of your invoice inside a sealable bag (like a ziplock bag), and then put this inside your PFD pocket.
Why do I need to do this? Your legal servicing requirements start from the date of purchase, not the manufacturer date, therefore you may need to prove the date of purchase.

All Weather Comfort PFD Life Jacket

I sail a Hobie Tandem Island. I went sailing yesterday with the PFD Jacket for the first time. The jacket did everything Menace claim. The Tandem Island is a sit in, open to the elements, double Kyak with a sail and peddles. When the wind picks up, you get wet,,,,, soaked! PLUS!! After a day of moderate wind, and water spray coming off the hull, I was still dry and warm. The firm fitting cuffs stopped water running up the sleevs. brilliant! The jacket was very comfortale all day. MINUS! For me and other kyakers / canoeers / sailors, I really need some where to attach the UHF / VHF radio,,,,, a loop or a tab, shoulder heightish. BUT, besides that, the jacket worked perfectly I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
